A twisted tree grows from within, its branches and roots symbolizing toxic thoughts that have become deeply entrenched. The interplay of color and grayscale illustrates a pivotal choice: remain in distortion or step into truth.

Inspired by 2 Corinthians 10:5, this painting embodies the battle to “cast down imaginations” and break free from every thought that rises against God’s truth. Strongholds invites the viewer to confront inner entanglements—and prepare for transformation.
