Mixed Media Artist | Visionary Realism | Faith-Inspired Art

Susan is a mixed media artist whose work reflects a deeply personal exploration of faith and hope. Central to the artist’s practice is the theme of the Bride of Christ, which reflects a spiritual journey with God.

Susan believes her art is created with divine purpose — an act of obedience to God’s calling. Working in a peaceful studio nestled in the quiet countryside, Susan paints with the intent to inspire and share a message of faith. Each piece is a visual expression of belief in God’s plan, drawing from the promise in Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope."

Born and raised in rural central Mississippi, Susan’s artistic journey began in the quiet landscapes of the countryside, where the natural surroundings and spiritual influences shaped early creativity.

She pursued formal education in the arts attending East Central Community College (Mississippi) and Clovis Community College (New Mexico), before later expanding knowledge at the Milan Art Institute. These formative years deepened both Susan's technical skill and her understanding of the spiritual journey that would influence and shape her work.

Looking ahead, Susan is committed to continuing the artistic journey as a ministry — one that will bring light and hope to others. With an ongoing focus on reflecting the presence of God, the artist aims to create works that not only inspire those who view them but also serve as a testament to the divine purpose behind all creation. Through both continued artistic growth and obedience to God’s calling, Susan is dedicated to producing art that speaks to the heart, encouraging others to find faith and purpose in their own lives.

Susan's collections — The Call, Emerging, and The Bride-Warrior — embody her signature style of visionary realism: prophetic, faith-inspired art that speaks to the soul.

Each piece is created with heart and purpose — a reflection of heaven's message made visible through art.
